{Video} Shooting Macro Images With The Olympus PEN

This month I launched a Makelight Mini Course about my favourite little camera, The Olympus PEN. As a result of some questions about taking close-up images (shooting Macro) I decided to buy this nifty little Macro Convertor for the lenses that I already have.

An Olympus Macro lens has been on my wish list ever since getting this camera at the end of 2015 but when someone in the Olympus class asked about this convertor I just had to try it!

I have been so pleased with the results so far. The only thing that can be tricky is that I can sometimes feel a little wobbly when I use the convertor on my 45mm lens. I get the same feeling when I use my 100mm macro on my Canon 5D, so it might mean that I need to use a tripod for macro images with my 45mm lens. Or practise a little more.

The convertor works on my 45mm 1.8 lens and my kit lens but not my 17mm 2.8 (it does work on the 1.8 though).

I hope this inspires you to have a go at Macro photography with your PEN too. xo
