Oh wow! Here is the fourth introduction from my Maker Spaces book. Where is the time going? It's exciting that this means that I'm another week closer to being able to share this book with you and it's also exciting that today I get to introduce you to the very lovely and talented interior stylist and felt artist Inge Cremer.
Inge lives in the Netherlands with her husband and son in the most beautiful house. Her studio is in the attic and is gorgeous and inspiring. I was introduced to Inge through my friend and fellow blogger Ilaria and I was really attracted to the happy colours in Inge's work.
Inge believes in living and working from your heart. Sweet hearts can be found in her garden and throughout her home as a beautiful, constant reminder to do what feels right in your heart.
I love how her work is gorgeous and at the same time it's got some really fun elements, like Playmobil characters felted into a piece.
I asked Inge about her plans for this year. She is busy making more of her wonderful felt wall hangings for an exhibition in May, she has travel plans with London and New York on her list and she is working on a felt 'het meisje met de parel' (girl with the pearl earring) by the Dutch artist Johannes Vermeer. She also has plans to work creatively with a group of women and do some workshops. It sounds like a very lovely year indeed!
I really can't wait for you to see so much more of Inge's stunning home and wonderful studio in April! Have you pre-ordered your signed copy yet?
