Summer Holiday Make & Do: Printing T-shirts

Yesterday we had lots of fun printing our own t-shirts. Totally inspired by our lovely friend Davina Drummond, who made this super cute vest for Rudi when she was born. I love stamping too but have never used my stamps on fabric, so I was excited to do this Summer holiday project with my children.

We used plain white t-shirts and Yellow Owl Workshop ink pads and stamps. We also used our letter stamps from Muji.

Imogen wanted to make use of all the stamps that I got out to make her t-shirt and she did a quick test on paper first. I absolutely love her little message on her t-shirt.

And then she added the beach scene underneath for a Summer feel.

And then Oren joined us to make his one.

We left them to dry overnight and ironed them this morning, covered in a cotton cloth, to set the ink.

How brilliant to make your very own Summer holiday t-shirts! For more ideas of things to make and do during the holidays take a look at my Pinterest board. Have fun! x
