I really do love being pregnant. My body seems to take to it very well indeed, especially after the first trimester is over.
As this is my fourth and definitely final pregnancy, I want to try and enjoy it as much as possible. This is going to be a bit tricky because so much of my time is taken up with with being a Mummy to my three children but I am going to try my very best. Writing this new little weekly post here should help to at least focus on my bump for a little while!
This week I have started reading Jools Oliver's book "minus nine to one" (1) again. I have read this during all my pregnancies and I think it's a bit of a comfort to re-read it each time. I love Jools' honesty and it makes me laugh too.
This stretch mark oil (2) is my very favourite one. The smell makes me feel all happy and cosy. And my skin loves it too. My poor tummy has been through quite a lot of stretching over the past 6 years, so needs all the help it can get. I think I might need to invest in the body butter this time too. I think pampering is so important in pregnancy. Your body is doing such an amazing job and definitely deserves some treats!
The material (3) is the first that I've bought to make the baby's quilt. Love these orange colours and I can wait to gather some more material. With the move and then Christmas I think this project is going to have to wait until January but I'll have three Winter months before the baby comes to snuggle down in the evenings to make a quilt. Perfect!
