4 Simple Goals

I always love having goals to work towards to help me feel like I'm making the most of the time I get to myself in all the madness of being a mum to my little ones! Writing down the things I want to do makes them more likely to happen. I am still working through my 12 for 2012 list but when I saw this 4 Simple Goals idea on the fabulous A Beautiful Mess, I knew I wanted to join in too and create some goals to see me through to the end of the year.

Here are my 4 Simple Goals:

1. Practice, practice, practice my crochet! (cheating slightly by taking this from my other list but if it's on two lists then it should happen right?!) 

2. Do some yoga every day, even if it's just 5 minutes. Yoga has been a part of my life for a very long time and I know that when I do take the time to do it I feel so much better in my body and mind. 

3. Take a polaroid (or more!) a week. I restarted my love of polaroids over the holidays but haven't taken any since coming home. I love the way it makes me stop, think and slow down with my photography, and that is a good thing. 

4. Move house as calmly as possible. Perhaps that's not a simple goal but I have just under 7 weeks to plan, clear-out, pack and organize. If I do something each day, then it may not be as stressful as past moves. We have moved a lot, so I have had plenty of practice. Here goes! 

And my reward for completing my goals will be choosing new things for our home. I'm already compiling a list, particularly from the new House collection at John Lewis. So much lovely stuff.
