After a long journey we finally arrived at my Mum's house in Eymet in the Dordorgne on Friday evening. And what a beautiful place to arrive. The children were so good on the journey and incredibly excited to get here. This is my boys' first visit to France and although Imogen has been a couple of times she was too little to remember, so it's really a first big adventure for all of them.
We will be spending four weeks in France. A week here in the Dordorgne, then down to Languedoc-Roussillon from the middle two weeks before spending our final week near Limoges in Limousin. I have been planning this trip for a while now, so it's lovely to actually be here and enjoying it.
The weather hasn't been that great so far but it hasn't stopped us swimming in the pool at least twice a day. And I'm sure there's plenty of sunshine to come.
On the way down it was lovely to get a link from Mafrotto to let me know that I'm one of their featured parent blogs from around the world. Thank you! Take a look at their lovely selection of blogs.
I will be blogging along the way, so do pop back over the next few weeks if you want to know what it's like to take three young children to France for a month. Enjoy!
