Mother's Day Crafting

Here is a very simple idea from Tesco for creating something lovely with your children for Mother's Day.

We used an empty shoe box (for some little shoes!) and covered it in brown kraft paper. I wanted to use something the children could draw on. Imogen decided that having a family drawing on the top would be a lovely idea.

As we all love my big tub of washi tape, we definitely had to use some of that. I love that washi tape is so child-friendly and very happy tape to use. If it goes wrong, you just peal it off without ruining anything. It's brilliant!

Inside we put some pink tissue paper and filled it with heart biscuits. We used the recipe we love. And then we made a cute little tag, which Imogen hand wrote on one side and stamped on the other side.

To finish it off Oren drew one of his monsters to put inside the lid to make me jump when I open it!

I love this box and after we've enjoyed the biscuits I'm going to keep special little memories in it. My little family box.

I hope that has give you a little inspiration for something simple, fun and inexpenisve to make this Mother's Day.

Thank you to Tesco for inviting me to take part in this crafty challenge.
